Scheduling Your Tour

Are you a group looking for a special place to visit while in the Peru area?  The Grissom Air Museum is the perfect stop on any tour schedule!  The GAM offers self-guided and guided tour options to groups of all sizes, including individuals.  We have hosted school groups, youth organizations, senior centers, community outreach groups, bus tours, and we’re very popular for birthday gifts.  Thousands of guests have explored the museum and now it’s your turn!

Guided Tours are a great option for those groups who love to dive a little deeper than the interpretation goes.  Led by one of our knowledgeable docents, these tours often take two hours and include all three areas of the museum.  Currently, our guided tours are best for guests 10 years and older.

  • Special add-on options: History scavenger hunt
  • Maximum size for guided tours are 125 people
  • Tours with 25 or more people will be split into smaller groups
  • The current cost for  guided tours are:
    • Adult Groups: $6.00 per person
    • Student Groups: $5.00 per person
  • Guided tours must be schedule at least two weeks in advance.

Self-Guided Tours are an option for groups that are limited for time or may be too large for a guided tour.  These are also perfect for school groups that have a specific goal in mind and those organizations are welcomed to work with the GAM to ensure a great experience.

    • Adult Groups: $6.00 per person
    • Student Groups: $5.00 per person
  • Self guided tours do not need to register with the museum but we ask to be notified at least 48 hours in advance to ensure our staff can support your group’s needs during your visit.
