Welcome to the Heritage Building
Our flagship building, the Heritage Museum was opened to the public in September 1991 and has served as our home base for events, programs, exhibits, and guest experiences since then. Tickets to visit the museum and air park can be purchased at our front desk, which gives you access to our annual exhibit line-up, the opportunity to try out a Huey and an F-4 Phantom and do a little shopping in The Gift Hanger. Guests also access the new Cervantes Building through the western hallway.
The Heritage Museum is ADA accessible to visitors with mobility limitations and the museum makes available at no charge both a motorized scooter and manual wheelchairs. Beginning in 2026, new accommodations for guests with limited vision will be introduced.
The Heritage Museum is available for private rentals, as is the air park. The Cervantes Building will be available beginning in late summer 2026.
