The following applies to all rentals:

  • Rental dates are subjected to blackouts dates:
  • Tours of the facilities are available by appointment only.
  •  Deposits are refundable but may be withheld.
    • Refunds are issued via check only and will be mailed 15 to 30 days after the event.
  • Pricing discounts are available for the following: 
    • Multi-day events
    • GAM members
    • Miami County schools
    • Eligible non-profits

The GAM treats every event on a case-by-case-basis, however, as we are first and foremost a museum, the GAM reserves the right to deny rentals that may endanger our historic property or any artifact.  We recommend you review our rental contract to understand some of the limitations renters may face if they choose to host their event at the museum.  

 

Additionally, as a 501(c) who holds the public’s trust, partisan and politicking events are not allowed.  Events related to alcohol will have additional perimeters that will be discussed at the time of contract signing.  Renters are always encouraged to contact the GAM directly to learn more.  Fee information is updated annually, either on January 1 or July 1st of the year.

Pavilions

For exclusive use of either the 305th Pavilion in the Air Park or the West Pavilion next to the Cervantes Building.  Those opting to use the 305th will be required to purchase admission tickets for all attendees.  This is optional for West Pavilion renters, but limits access to the museum.

 

All pavilion rentals are limited to business hours only and are limited to 40 people per rental.

 

Current Fee: $75.00

  • Required Deposit: None
  • Hourly add-on: $15.00 each*
  • Admission ticket: $5.00 per person (ages 5 and older)

Your fee includes the following:

  • Exclusive use of the pavilion during your event
  • Two (2) hours set up and tear down
  • Four (4) hours for the rental
  • Access to trash cans
  • Use of picnic tables

Access to the following areas are included in your rental fee:

  • The pavilion
  • Museum bathrooms
  • With the admission ticket, all of the Heritage Museum, Cervantes Building, and Air Park

*Add-ons or extra hours should be reserved ahead of time to ensure availability, but can be approved day of with payment required up front.

For exclusive of the Hall of Honor, located inside the Heritage Museum.  Admission tickets are required for non-meeting events such as birthday parties. 

 

Hall of Honor rentals are limited to business hours only and are limited to up to 20 people.

 

Current Fee: $75.00

  • Required Deposit: None
  • Hourly add-on: $15.00 each*
  • Admission ticket: $5.00 per person (ages 5 and older)

Your fee includes the following:

  • Exclusive use of the Hall of Honor during your event
  • Two (2) hours set up and tear down
  • Four (4) hours for the rental
  • Use of the podium and TV

Access to the following areas are included in your rental fee:

  • The Hall of Honor
  • Museum bathrooms
  • With the admission ticket, all of the Heritage Museum, Cervantes Building, and Air Park

*Add-ons or extra hours should be reserved ahead of time to ensure availability, but can be approved day of with payment required up front.

The use of the Heritage Museum, which will include the Hall of Honor but not include the Air Park or Cervantes Building.  All building rentals come with access to available chairs and tables (see rental contract) and may include access to a TV for use for presentations, video, and more.

 

The Heritage Building can be rented during and after business hours, but the former will result in a higher fee due to the closure of the public to the public.  The guest limit is approximately 125 people but is dependent on layout.

 

Current Fee: $1,000.00 (after hours) or $1,750.00 (business hours)

  • Required Deposit: $250.00
  • Hourly add-on: $100.00 each*
  • Cervantes Building-only add-on: $500.00*
  • Grounds-only add-on: $1,000.00*

Your fee includes the following:

  • Two (2) hours for set up and tear down**
  • Five (5) hours for the event
  • Pre-event storage in the Hall of Honor (if available)
  • For weddings: use of the Air Park or Cervantes Building for pre-wedding or engagement photos (wedding party only, no guests)

Access to the following areas are included in your rental fee:

  • Hall of Honor
  • Museum bathrooms

*Add-ons or extra hours should be reserved ahead of time to ensure availability, but can be approved day of with payment required up front.

 

**This can be extend to up to three hours with pre-approval from the GAM.

The use of the Cervantes Building, which will not include the Air Park or Heritage Museum.  All building rentals come with access to available chairs and tables (see rental contract) and may include access to a TV for use for presentations, video, and more.  Cervantes Building rentals can add on the Heritage Building or Air Park to their rental.

 

The Cervantes Building can be rented during and after business hours.  The guest limit is approximately 200 people but is dependent on layout.

  • Required Deposit: $250.00
  • Hourly add-on: $100.00 each*
  • Heritage Building-only add-on: $500.00
  • Air Park-only add-on: $1,000.00

Your fee includes the following:

  • Two (2) hours for set up and tear down**
  • Five (5) hours for the event
  • Pre-event storage in the Hall of Honor (if available)
  • For weddings: use of the Air Park or Heritage Museum for pre-wedding or engagement photos (wedding party only, no guests)

Access to the following areas are included in your rental fee:

  • Museum bathrooms

**This can be extend to up to three hours with pre-approval from the GAM.

 

The use of the Air Park, which will not include the Cervantes Building or Heritage Museum.  All Air Park rentals come with access to the use of the 305th sitting  Pavilions.  Air Park rentals do come with water and electrical access, which should be discussed with the GAM at the time of the contract signing.  Port-a-potty rentals are recommended for events with up to 250 people.  For events above 250, they will be required.

 

The Air Park can be rented during and after business hours as well as in part or in totality.  The guest limit is approximately 1,500 – 2,000 people but is dependent on layout and space.  It should be noted that those who rent only a portion of the Air Park during business hours will share that space with the general public.  Delineation of space will occur to ensure privacy for all renters.

 

Current Fee: $1,500.00 (partial use) or $3,000.00 for exclusive use of Air Park

  • Required Deposit: $350.00
  • Hourly add-on: $500.00 each*
  • Heritage Building & Cervantes Building add-on: $1,500.00

Your fee includes the following:

  • Two (2) hours for set up and tear down**
  • Five (5) hours for the event
  • Pre-event storage in the Hall of Honor (if available)
  • For weddings: use of the Heritage Museum or Cervantes Building for pre-wedding or engagement photos (wedding party only, no guests if no add-on)

Access to the following areas are included in your rental fee:

  • Museum bathrooms (not available if event is over 250 people)

**This can be extend to up to three hours with pre-approval from the GAM.

 

The exclusive use of the whole museum property (Heritage Building, Air Park, Cervantes Building, and West Lot) during business hours is available.  Access to exterior water and electric are available and for events with 250 or more people, port-a-potties will be required.

 

Among all three locations, the total number of guests is estimated to be 2,500, dependent upon layout, especially inside the the buildings.

  • Six (6) hours for the event
  • Pre-event storage in the Hall of Honor (if available)
