Aviation Art Contest
Every September, the
Grissom Air Museum hosts a Student Aviation Art Contest for grades kindergarten
through 12. Students are invited to draw or paint any aircraft, or famous
aviator, and submit it to the museum by the deadline.
Numerous prizes will be
given in each category including trophies and ribbons. Prizes are awarded
at the museum’s Festival of Flight on the first Saturday in October. Winning
works of art (plus all other entries, space permitting) will be displayed
at the museum throughout the month of October. |

Contest Rules
The Aviation Art Contest
is open to all Indiana students in grades K-12. Awards will be given
at the Grissom Air Museum’s Festival of Flight in October.
Five grand prizes will
be awarded in combined grade categories, plus first through third places
will be awarded in each grade level.
Winning works, along with
all entries (space permitting), will be displayed at the museum during
October. Please read the Contest Rules. |

Tip
Middle and high school
students may be encouraged by the fact that there are usually fewer entries
in Grades 7-12. |
