Every September, the Grissom Air Museum hosts a Student Aviation Art Contest for grades kindergarten through 12. Students are invited to draw or paint any aircraft, or famous aviator, and submit it to the museum by the deadline.

Numerous prizes will be given in each category including trophies and ribbons. Prizes are awarded at the museum’s Festival of Flight on the first Saturday in October. Winning works of art (plus all other entries, space permitting) will be displayed at the museum throughout the month of October.
